Life Legacy
Beverly Lohaus born Feb, 13, 1939 Fairfax, Minnesota to Alfred Nielsen and Tracy Klein Nielsen she was raised in Fairfax until she moved to Morgan, Minnesota as a teenager. She graduated from High School there and later married Robert W. Lohaus on September 14, 1957 making their home in Morgan. They moved to Arizona in 1967 settling in Tempe. She was employed with Motorola for years. Her husband Bob worked for Shamrock Dairies. Beverly later worked as a secretary for Sunset Sports Center before retiring and moving to Wickenburg in 2003. She was active at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and enjoyed camping and fishing and the outdoors and loved to travel. She is survived by husband Robert of Wickenburg, sons: Brian Lohaus ( Toni) or Maricopa, AZ, Brad Lohaus ( Anne) of North Liberty, Iowa & Bruce Lohaus of Iowa City, a sister Jeanette Barnel (Richard) of New Ulm, Minnesota and brother Dwain Nielsen also of New Ulm, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Mar. 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg with Msgr. George Highberger as Celebrant. The family suggests any memorial contributions in Beverly’s memory be made to Hospice of Arizona 19702 Routzahn Way, Sun City West, AZ 85375.
