Alice Lindamood

Alice Marie Lindamood, age 67, passed away October 15, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. Alice was born August 25,1944 in Clinton, Oklahoma to William G. May and Ethel Aldridge May. She attended schools there graduating from Clinton High School with the Class of 1962. Following her schooling she began working as a secretary working at the Clinton-Sherman Airforce Base. She married Lee Roy Lindamood and they moved to Alamogordo,NM for a brief time and later Yuma, Arizona and retiring in Wickenburg. Alice was a member of the Wickenburg Elks Lodge Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Hassayampa River Yacht Club and would help with the Annual Chili Cook-off as well as the Wickenburg Art Club and enjoyed arts and crafts of any kind. She loved to travel and enjoyed her friends here in Wickenburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Lindamood in 1992 and her father William in 1975. Alice is survived by her son Robert (Barbara) Lindamood of Hydro, Oklahoma and daughter Susie Shields and her husband Terry Haddenham of Hendersonville, North Carolina. She is also survived by her mother Ethel McCauley of Wickenburg and a brother Marvin G. May of Calumet, OK and 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and nieces Lisa Hice of Bismarck, AR and LeAnn Hoff of Hinton, OK. The family suggests any memorial contributions in Alice's memory be made to the Wickenburg Art Club. Family services will be held at the Lindamood home in Wickenburg on Monday, October 17th at 3:00PM.
