Allen Sanderfer

Allen O. Sanderfer, Jr., age 73, passed away on February 1, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. Allen was born June 14, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to Allen and Mary Sanderfer. He worked as a Ford Service Manager in the Southern California area for years. He and wife Karen came to Wickenburg 9 years ago after retiring for health reasons. Allen was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a kind, loving man that was well respected by all. His wife Karen said, " He could charm a bird right out of a tree" He managed the Loose Horse R.V. Park for many years and was always fair with all the tenants. He also worked with the local school in the transportation dept. as a bus driver, and the children all loved him. Allen and his Supervisor there enjoyed doing things together when they were not working. He also worked for the band KISS in the 70's driving their tour bus on the road from one performance to another as well as for Linda Ronstadt. Allen was married to Karen Sanderfer for 48 years and said, "she made him whole". They loved going on motorcycle rides with friends and doing many other things together. Allen is survived by his wife Karen of Wickenburg and Rebecca Sanderfer of Riverside, Ca as well as brother Reggie Sanderfer and sister Sharon Colburn.
