If it's possible, Heaven just got a bit happier, more loving, and kinder. Anna Rae Hunt Jackson was born March 21, 1935 in Oakland CA. She was the second daughter and third child of John and Irene Hunt. Her siblings are Idell Plum of AZ and the late John Hunt. Anna Rae was raised in Glendale AZ before moving to Southern California where she raised her 3 wonderful children. TimiRae (Ed) Teeples, of Wickenburg, Ron (Linda) Devey of Santa Maria, CA, and Randy Lee (Colleen) Devey of Mather, CA. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Anna Rae married the love her life, Harold Jackson, on February 17, 1990 in Las Vegas Nevada. They lived in San ta Maria, CA for four years before moving in 1994 to Clinton, KY to care for Harold's aging father and disabled sister. Compassion and caring were always a hallmark of Anna Rae's life. Service to her husband's family was not easy, but it was how she showed unconditional love. In 2017 she and Harold moved to Wickenburg to be nearer to family. Anna Rae was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her Heavenly Father and her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a true disciple. She served in many church callings throughout her life. Some of these included Relief Society, seminary instructor, Sunday School teacher with Harold, and most recently was loved by the members of the Wickenburg Ward. She felt her most fulfilling time was spent serving and teaching the youth. She truly loved them. They felt that, and they loved her. Her grandchildren each received a blanket from her at their birth. And her children, and grand and great grandchildren could always expect kitchen towels on the holidays. Anna Rae was never judgmental of anyone. She saw the good in all people. If all people could have her love and empathy for others, as the song goes, "What a wonderful world it would be." We love and miss you Anna Rae. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Wickenburg Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with interment to follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
