Benjamin Dunkel

Benjamin Fredrick Dunkel, Jr. of Wickenburg passed away on October 6, 2014. He was 73. Ben was born January 21, 1941 in Bethalto, Illinois. Ben was a Navy veteran and following his military services met and married Joyce Duncan and they made their home in Buckeye. They moved to Wickenburg in the 1980's His hobbies included woodworking, rock collecting, hunting, camping, and fishing. Ben was preceded in death by his wife Joyce V. Dunkel in 2008 and granddaughters Brandy Dunkel and Cassie Dunkel. He is survived by his sons, Kenny Craig of Buckeye, Randy Dunkel of Mesa, Roger Dunkel of Phoenix and Corky Dunkel of Wickenburg, daughters, Cheri Stevens of Pennsylvania and Chelli Robinson of Goodyear, sisters Barbara Norris and Carol Rogers. Ben is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 with visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Graveside Services at 11:00 A.M. at Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
