Bobby Lee Vaughn, 81, passed away on May 30, 2025, in Wickenburg, AZ.
Bobby was born on June 15, 1943 in Deering, MO, to Frank and Hazel Vaughn.
Bobby attended Monterey Peninsula College and went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate Universiy. He started his career as a police officer and went on to work for the Pacific Grove police department. He continued in law enforcement with the sheriff's department. He also worked in real estate, and the ministry.
Bobby married Kay Luttrell on January 17, 1967 in Monterey, California. The couple had 6 children, Annette Vaughn, Rachel Barel, Karen Belding, Sharon Vaughn, Heather Sanders, and Matt Vaughn.
Bobby was best known for his beautiful voice and his love of singing and harmonizing with his wife Kay. He was offered a recording contract as a young husband and father, but chose to decline due to his commitment to his family. He also loved designing and building furniture. He spent many happy hours exploring the desert with his brothers, children and grandchildren.
Bobby also served in the Army from 1960 - 1963.
Bobby is survived by his wife Kay of Wickenburg, 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Bobby is preceded in death by Frank Vaughn - father, Hazel Vaughn - mother, Rachel Barel - daughter, and 5 siblings,
Buddy, John, Delois, Patricia, and Valeria.
