Brandon Uhlig

December 22, 1949 — October 20, 2019

On October 20, 2019, Brandon Scott Uhlig of Morristown age 69 passed away after a long battle with cancer. Brandon was born in Wayne Co. Detroit Michigan on December 22, 1949. To father, Otto Clayton Uhlig and mother, Pearl Ann Manning. He grew up in a small suburb of Detroit, Berkley MI. Brandon moved to AZ in the mid 70's. After spending some time in the valley he built a home and business in Morristown. Brandon is best known for his work in the automotive field. His career spanned 52 years restoring and customizing classic cars in addition to doing collision repair. 30 of those years were at his shop Brandy's Auto Body in Morristown. From the humble little shop he built many show winning cars, some of which went on to be magazine feature cars. He had clients from all over the country. Always well respected, for his artistic talent and craftsmanship. His youngest son Clayton will continue his fathers legacy and keep the business running strong. Brandon and his wife Marie are also credited in creating and volunteering in the CCMFD in Morristown as firefighter and EMT. Their home served as the fire station and dispatch for several years. Brandon was also known for his kind heart, personality and sense of humor. Over the years his door was always open to someone in need. Brandon loved fishing, camping, golfing and of course, cars. Brandon is survived by his wife of 32 years Marie Cully Uhlig and three sons, Command Sergeant Major Dwayne C. Uhlig , (Brenda) Darrin C. Uhlig (Traci) and Clayton B. Uhlig. As well as his four grandchildren, Caden , McKenna, Brock and Brody.



Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Wickenburg Cemetery, 855 Kellis Rd.
