Charles Shayne

Charles Edmond Shayne, age 69, passed away on June 10, 2019 at his home in Congress, Arizona. Chas was born on February 21, 1950 in West Point, NY to Charles and Jacquelline Shayne. He was the oldest of 12 in the family. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He later worked for years as a heavy equipment operator. Chas was a member and served as the past commander of American Legion Post #12 in Wickenburg. He was also a member of the American Legion Riders. He loved to ride and was a great rider. Chas was preceded in death by his mother and a brother. He is survived by his Wife Adria of Congress and his father Charles of West Point, NY and children: Sean, Lydia, Alainah and Kierra as well as 5 sisters and 2 brothers and 4 half-brothers. He was loved by all and will be missed. A celebration of his life will be held on June 29th at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Hall in Wickenburg.
