I was 70 when I died. Those who mourn my passing are Bob Bush, my perfect husband, Lisa Corboy, my perfect daughter, and Jane Coleman my wonderful artist sister. Also, 2 loving dogs, 1 loving cat and one of the best horses ever, Flashy.
There were a bunch of fun things I did do and real estate work was one of them. I opened my first office when I was 28 and I was very scared to embark on such a giant undertaking. But it did work. Very well! I had a great time in Estes Park, CO having started 3 offices, elected president of the board of realtors and almost 50% of the market share. I was a mortgage broker and licensed appraiser.
I met wonderful Bob in 1988 and married him in 1989. We had a great time in the Washington D.C. corridor and started Bobtail Ranch, a quality home for horses. I was very lucky to have had horses during the whole of my lifetime. Most of the horses we raised turned in to world class show horses. In 2000 we were transferred to Brighton, CO and we continued horse care while Bob continued his work with the Department of Interior.
Then on to "retirement" and Wickenburg in 2014. Upon moving to Wickenburg I was lucky to have my Arizona real estate license with my longtime friend Jorja Beal. That, too, was successful. We thought the climate, both esthetic and weather wise was a perfect place for us here in Wickenburg.
I will miss all my terrific friends and family, and only wish I had been able to help more people with their wants and desires in life and real estate. And I wish I had more time for my horses!
ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) got me and I died from complications of that hideous disease.
Any contributions you care to give I would appreciate going to the Wickenburg Humane Society or the Wickenburg Hospital Foundation.
