Dena Rae Hauffe was born at Wickenburg Community Hospital on August 25, 1962 to Avon and Phyllis Hauffe. She attended school from kindergarten to graduating high school in Wickenburg. She then continued her schooling at Arizona State University with a degree in business administration.

Dena meet her future husband and best friend and they moved to San Diego for many years. She worked for a fishing boat company. They retuned to Wickenburg their home town where she worked as a bartender and caregiver for her husband. Dena was so excited to also be a "garter girl" for Gold Rush Days.

Dena was charismatic and did not know a stranger. She was able to make everyone around her at ease. She loved helping everyone! The world is a kinder place because of her.

Dena is survived by her mother Phyllis Hauffe and her older sister Rhonda Hauffe. She was very lucky to marry into the Park family and her stepdaughter Jessica and Kristen.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dena's life on Saturday August 1, at 4 p.m. at the Elks club in Wickenburg. A potluck. reception will follow the service, and guests are welcome to bring a side dish to share.

Dena is now at peace beside her beloved husband of 32 years.
