Edith Morlan

Edith Evelyn Earnest Morlan, age 94, passed away March 24, 2017 at her home in Morristown, Arizona. Edith was born October 17, 1922 in Tugaske, Saskatchewan, Canada to Lloyd and Ruth Earnest. She graduated from Lohrville High School in Lohrville, Iowa. Edith married Elvon Morlan on August 14, 1941. She and Elvon operated a produce business for years and she sold Minnesota Woolen clothing also. Edith was active in the community as a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Iowa. At age 72 Edith began working for Walmart in Bentonville, Arkansas in the Garden Dept. she worked there until retiring at age 82. She moved to Florida to be near family and in 2011 moved to Arizona settling in Morristown. She was preceded in death by her husband Elvon in 1991. Edith is survived by her children: Robert, Harold & Gwendolyn, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.
