Elvia Delgado

Elvira Bocanegra Delgado, age 64, passed away on April 19, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona following a brief illness. Elvira was born in San Ignacio, Jerecuaro, Gto., Mexico to Gosefa Bocanega and Bacilia Saavedra. She married Manuel Delgado and they began a family. They moved to Aguila in 1995 and Manuel worked in agriculture for Martori Farms. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Aguila. Elvira was preceded in death by her husband Manuel in 2007. She is survived by her children: Antonio, Jesus, Alejandro, Isaac, Estrella, Esmeralda, Gassel and Nancy, as well as 7 brothers and sister in Mexico. A funeral mass will be said on Saturday, April 24th at 6:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Aguila with interment to follow in Jerecuaro, Gto., Mexico.
