Esther Fay McNeil Lee, age 102, Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother returned home to her Father in Heaven on Sunday, January 1, 2017.
Esther was born March 29, 1914 in a one room cabin, built by her parents Dan and Emma Angenette McNeil. The log cabin still stands on the old Dan McNeil homestead in Lakeside, Arizona.
She is survived by her children: Jessian Rhoton (James Frank) of Tempe, Arizona, Sylvan R. (Marlene), Loretta Jennings, Roberta Coons and James D. (Maribeth) of Phoenix, AZ, Raymond D. of Lakeside, AZ, Virginia Lee (Alma) of Wittmann, Az., Richard C. (Sonja) of Chesapeake, VA, Fred A. (Corrine) of Orem, UT, Marian L. Petersen of Claysprings, AZ and 58 grandchildren, 99 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on January 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeside LDS Ward Chapel in Lakeside, AZ, visitation one hour prior to services with interment to follow in the Lakeside Cemetery.
There will be a Memorial Service for Esther held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Chapel on 59th Ave and Clarendon in Phoenix, Az.
