Fran Erickson

Fran E. Erickson, age 64, passed away January 19, 2015 in Wickenburg, Arizona. Fran was born April 11, 1950 in Wickenburg to Albert & Irene Nord. She was raised in her earlier years in Salome and later the family moved to the Phoenix area where she attended and graduated from high school. Following high school Fran enlisted in the USAF serving from 1972 to 1975 in the #474 Tactical Fighter Wing, it was during her service in the military that she met her husband Arden and they were married in 1972. Following her military service she attended East Texas State University where she earned a bachelor's degree and later a Master's degree in Education. Fran taught briefly at a business college and then began working for Aetna Insurance Company where she worked for 15 years before retiringin 2002. She and Arden moved to Salome in 2012 to be near family. Fran was preceded in death by her father Albert Nord in January of 2014. She is survived by her husband Arden and mother Irene Nord of Salome, sister, Alice Taylor of Alabama ,brother Jerry Nord and wife Karen of Salome, sister Paula Bowers and husband Dennis of Oregon, brother Albert Nord Jr. and wife Cory of California and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Centennial Community Center in Wenden, Arizona. Memorial contributions in Fran's name may be made to the Grace Community Church in Salome or to Centennial Community Center in Wenden, AZ.
