Frank L. Dickinson, born January 11, 1934 and died on December 27, 2019 at age 85 at his home in Wickenburg Arizona, where he had lived for 62 years. He was born to Eddie and Jessie (Fenstermaker) Dickinson in the Jerome Hospital and grew up in Cottonwood Arizona. Frank was the middle child of three; Dixie, Frank and Nova. He spent most of his childhood in the Yavapai county area spending time outdoors with friends and family and in later years learning his father's trade Butchering.
After high school Frank enlisted in the United States Navy and was sent to the Korean War area. After returning to the States he got lucky and met Shirley Estes his future wife. After four years of service in the Navy,
Frank went to work for Mountain Bell Telephone Company and eventually settled in Wickenburg where he work for 33 years and raised his 3 children. After retiring Frank opened his own business Dickinson's Telephone
Service. At one time he probably knew about everyone in the town of Wickenburg.
Frank loved his family, sacrificed for them. He made growing up for his children a lot of fun; enjoying hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Shirley; sons, David (Jeanie), Steven (Diana) and daughter Vicki (Steve); 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and a niece and 2 nephews.
Services will be on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 10:00 AM with graveside service with military honors to follow at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations the family asked donations be made to support.woundedwarriorproject.org
