Frank Schaefer

Frank J. Schaefer, age 78, passed away on May 1, 2020 in Wickenburg, Arizona. Frank was born in New York City to John Schaefer and Ann Evanko Schaefer. He served in the U.S. Navy and later began working at the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant in California. He worked as an Instrument Technician. Frank was active in the community and a member of the Elks Lodge in California and served as a past Exalted Ruler on the Lodge. He was preceded by his first wife Emmagene in 1992 and later married Charlotte Lou Schaefer in 1993. They retired to a 40 ft motorhome and lived the next 25 years almost inseparable. They traveled extensively and worked and the Grand Canyon for 7 seasons and later moved to Wickenburg for health reasons. They loved the area and the people. Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife Charlotte "Charlou" Schaefer March 29, 2020.



He is survived by her children: Robyn Herring, Terri Puz and Scot Herring, grandchildren: Evan Herring, Chase Herring, Will Herring, Jason Puz, Jackson Puz, Abe Puz, Gabz Puz and great grandchildren: Abigail Herring & Effie Puz.
