With sadness and celebration we announce the passing of FRANK GEORGE TEEPLES and DONNA GENE PREATOR TEEPLES. Donna was born November 14, 1928 in Burlington, Wyoming. She passed away peacefully at home in Wickenburg, AZ surrounded by loving family December 9, 2021. Frank was born August 12, 1929 in Powell, Wyoming. He passed one day after his beloved wife on December 10, 2021. They married July, 18, 1951. They were inseparable for 70years.Donna was the youngest child of Gene and Gladys Preator. She was raised with her six siblings in Burlington, WY. After Highschool, she attended college and got her two-year teaching degree, which was what was required to become a teacherat that time. Later, she finished her teaching degree at BYU and University of San Francisco.Frank was born to Lee Teeples and Ida Cook Teeples. Following a divorce, Ida took Frank and moved to Hyattville, WY. There, she met and married Scipio Cortez Pritchard. They added four more sons and Frank loved those brothers!Donna and Frank met while she was teaching his little brothers in a country school in Hyattville, Wyoming. They dated and fell in love. Frank knew he needed a steady job if he was going to ask Donna to marry him. They went together looking for work for him. As jobs were hard to find at that time, Frank was happy to find a job with the United States Air Force.Immediately after their marriage, Frank left to serve in the Korean War. Donna moved to California to live with her sister's family while Frank was gone. Frank loved his country. After being stationed in Japan during the Korean War, he completed his service at Chanute AFB in Illinois. Here, their first child, Eddie, was born. Frank loved his mother. When she fell ill, he and Donna moved back to Hyattville to help. Donna cared for the boys and Frank's mother until she passed away. While in Hyattville, Frank and Donna welcomed their second child and named her Ida Larraine after his mother. Frank received his associate degree from NWCC in Powell, WY. In 1958, they moved to Laramie, where Frank received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming. He also worked and learned the trade of building homes. Baby Sharon was born in Laramie.Frank was offered a teaching job in Glenrock, Wyoming. Frank and Donna loved working together as elementary school teachers for fifteen years. They enjoyed bowling, square dancing and horseshoe pitching together. Frank built homes onweekends and during summers. As his children got older, he enjoyed having them work with him.While Donna continued to teach Kindergarten, Frank retired from teaching and began building homes full time. After Donna retired, they built their dream home in Buffalo, WY where they lived across the street from Larraine and her family for23 years. During this time, Frank discovered he had a half brother that he'd never met. Frank and Donna were so happy to meet his brother Al and wife, Joyce and family. After Larraine remarried and moved to Calgary, AB, Frank and Donnamoved to Orem, Ut to be close to Ed and his family. They lived there until 2017when they moved to Wickenburg, AZ to live with Ed and Timi who were their caregivers until their deaths in 2021.Frank and Donna were both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They raised their family in a very loving home where they taught by example to be kind, work hard and be truthful in whatever they did. Their biggestjoys were their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.They are survived by their three children, Edward (Timi) Teeples, Ida Larraine(Scott) Fairbanks, Sharon Teeples (Renee), as well as, 10 grandchildren and 24great grandchildren. They are also survived by Frank's two brothers, Jim (Erika)Pritchard, Bill (Mary) Pritchard, sisters-in-law, Theresa Pritchard, Norma Pritchard and Joyce Teeples.Frank and Donna were preceded in death by all parents, all of Donna's siblingsLazell (Betty) Preator, Eyre (Jesse) Preator, Stanley (Vivian) Preator, Arlan (Dorothy) Preator, Elva (Claytor) Chantrill, Julia (Glen) Michaels and three of Frank's Brothers, Tom Pritchard, John Pritchard and Al Teeples.Frank and Donna are now together in Heaven. They are blessed and they are happy.In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to your favorite Veterans Organization.
