Fred West

Fred Samuel West passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Banner Hospice with his wife and family members by his side. Fred was 84 years old. Fred was born October 6, 1931 to Samuel Bartley and Gertrude Greenhaw West in Stamford, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Loretta Pounds West; son Fred Duane West and wife Cathy; daughter Linda West Spencer and husband Kent; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. West was a retired captain with the Central Valley Fire District in San Bernardino County, California. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. December 22, 2015, at First Southern Baptist Church, 360 West Yavapai Street, Wickenburg, AZ. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Interment will be at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wickenburg Christian Academy, 260 North Yavapai, Wickenburg, AZ, 85390, in memory of Fred West.
