Geneva Harris

Geneva Joyce Harris, age 78, passed away on August 19, 2014. She was born May 4, 1936 in Comanche, Texas to Thomas and Sarah Swindell. Geneva was raised in El Paso, Texas and later married Jesse "Tom" Harris in 1953 making their home in El Paso. The relocated to Arizona in 1957 living in the Glendale and South Phoenix areas. She was a homemaker and mother. Geneva enjoyed her crafts and was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed needle point and crocheting. She enjoyed camping and loved to fish. Family was most important in her life and she loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and Tom moved to Peeples Valley in 1988. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom in 1998. She was also preceded in death by sons Thomas and Timothy and grandson Jason as well as 2 great-grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Barbara Frank of Spring Valley, Az., Shirley (Bert) Freigruber of Scottsdale, AZ., Tracey ( J.D.) Kingston of Peoria, AZ., and sister Juanita Burdick of El Paso, Tx., grandchildren: Richard Frank, Mark K. Pemble, Aaron Pemble, Brett Pemble, Nate Kingston, Kailee Kingston, Brandon Kingston, Kacey Dawson, Nick Harris, Jayden Harris, Geneva Krager, Kerianne Snipes, Albert Freigruber and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are pending at this time.
