George R. Gruden, age 93, passed away February 27, 2017 in Wickenburg, Arizona.
George was born in Brownsdale, PA. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII a survivor of the "Omaha the Bloody" He was a truck driver for years and most recently an apartment manager before retiring. He wrote his own obituary and this is what George penned: "George R. Gruden died. He survived Omaha the Bloody, but he didn't survive today. The clock went tic ... but no tock, the piper is now paid in full.
There will be no services." Graveside services with military honors were held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
