Hazel Briggs

Hazel V. Briggs, age 86, passed away August 22, 2017 at her home in Circle City, Arizona surround by family. Hazel was born February 6, 1931 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Noble Dudley and Gertrude Riddle Dudley. The family moved to California shortly thereafter. She attended schools there and met Clinton Briggs in 1946. They were later married in 1949 making there home at Camp Pendleton while Clint completed his military service. Clint began working for Pacific Gas & Electric and they traveled for his work. They eventually settled in Phoenix, Oregon where they lived for several years. In 1977 Clint and Hazel moved to Arizona settling in Circle City. Hazel was active in the community and began working at the Wise Owl Senior Center in Wickenburg as a cook. She was a member of he Morristown Baptist Church which is now the Morristown Community Church. After working at the Wise Owl she began working at the Morristown School.
