Helen Sewell

March 26, 1927 — April 15, 2015

Helen Imogene Bodiroga Sewell a resident of Wickenburg since 1946 passed away on April 15, 2015 with her family at her side. Born March 26, 1927 to Paul & Marjorie Davis of Miami, Az. The first of 4 daughters. Helen grew up in Miami, in 1945 she married George Bodiroga a Wickenburg native. They had two daughters, Jorja Beal & Beverley Bodiroga both of whom reside in Wickenburg. The light of her life was the birth of her grandson Laurence Wayne Beal III who is known as "Tres". Fondly known as "MaMa", Helen was instrumental in raising Tres. They had a special bond that was just theirs. She also leaves behind her two great-grandchildren, Alexandra Noelle Beal & Isaac Wayne Beal and godson, James "Jamie" McGuffin, all of whom she was very proud. Helen was pre-deceased by her husband George Bodiroga who passed away in 1976. She married Doyle Sewell many years later, they shared a happy and fulfilling life, until his passing in 1998. Sisters Ethel Shaw and Norrine Hocking welcome her in heaven. Sister Pauline Phillips resides in Miami, Az. Helen worked with George in their business for 30 years, while raising her two daughters she remained actively involved in the community and schools. Helen is survived by many nieces, nephews and great friends. Jorja, Beverley and Tres thank everyone for the kindness and respect shown to our mother & grandmother, she passed peacefully at Banner Hospice. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Wickenburg Funeral Home. In lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations to Banner Hospice in Helen's memory.
