Jan Hernandez born October 9, 1928 in Fulton, New York to Bessie and Norman Temple, went to Heaven on April 14, 2013. A tenacious and loving spirit, Jan could handle anything that was placed in front of her. She loved to work, whether it was driving a cab in New York to running a Circle K in Arizona. She loved helping others and was a member fo the Amercian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was always committed to everything that she did. The only thing that meant more to her than her job was her family which includes her husband, Raymond Hernandez, 8 children: Nancy (Bruce) Hollister, Diane (Larry) Nievel, John (Anita) Van Sanford, Wesley Belden, Lonnie Hernandez, Raymond (Carol) Hernandez, Richard (Rene) Hernandez, and Gary (Lila) Hernandez and 33 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two daughters Kendra Belden, Shelley Belden and their father Irvin Belden. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Hall Kellis-Draper Post 12.
