John Kennedy Graham

John Kennedy Graham passed away peacefully at his home in Wickenburg, Arizona, on May 3, 2026. He was born on September 12, 1942, in New Albany, Indiana, to Donald and Mary Jane Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Donald Graham Jr. He is survived by his two sisters, Jacqueline Graham Burton of Vonore, Tennessee, and Judith Graham Watson of Gray, Tennessee. He is also survived by his four children: Jenifer Graham of Cave Creek, Arizona; Brandy Graham of Indianapolis, Indiana; Wendy Tomamichel of Greencastle, Indiana; and Schuyler Graham of Wickenburg, Arizona; as well as his best friend, Alix Graham of Scottsdale, Arizona. He is further survived by five grandchildren: Jackson, Allie, Violet, Juliette, and Charlotte.

John graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1960, where he played basketball for the Athenians. As a Boy Scout, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He went on to graduate from Indiana University, where he completed his undergraduate studies and later earned his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law.

John practiced title law in Phoenix, Arizona, for more than 40 years. He spent the majority of his career with First American Title and later retired from North American Title. He took great pride in being recognized within the local legal community as the "Dean of Title Insurance."

An avid hiker and aficionado of the outdoors, John had an intimate knowledge of Arizona's landscapes, both historical and geographic. He could often be found doing yard work or relaxing in his rocking chair on his porch in Wickenburg. He had a deep affection for his dogs, Peanuts characters, John Wayne movies, and Civil War history. A connoisseur of ice cream, he had a particular fondness for Blue Bell.

He will be remembered by his community as a paragon in his practice of law and as a dedicated patriarch whose love, kindness and support was unconditional and unending to his family.
