Joyce Shaw

Joyce Isaak Shaw, a 20 year resident of Wickenburg AZ, passed away on November 16th, 2023 at the age of 91.

Born as Joyce Arleen Isaak in Portland OR on Sept 26th, 1932 Joyce grew up in Aberdeen Idaho where she graduated from High School. After High School, she moved to the Seattle area where she attended college and worked as a medical/dental assistant.

Joyce married Joseph B. Shaw on Sept 21, 1963 and remained happily married for 49 years. Joyce and Joe loved to spend time sailing the San Juans, commercial fishing and crabbing in Washington and Oregon, flying their private plane in the Willamette valley.

In 1996, the couple retired and moved to Wickenburg AZ where the couple loved to travel and explore the South West United States.
Joyce was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg and loved working through the church to help and counsel members of the grief sharing groups.

Joyce is survived by her two step sons Gordon Shaw and Gil Shaw and her many close friends in the Wickenburg community.

Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg on Friday, December 15th at 11am.
