Karen "Nin" Harris, departed this Earth suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Aguila, AZ on September 25, 2014, at the age of 70, leaving a huge hole in our Hearts. "Nin," was born a twin on December 6, 1943, to James E. & Eva M. Wallington at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA. She was raised and attended school in the Renton area, where she later met and wed her husband of 49 years, David E. Harris. They settled on Talbot Hill, not far from where their love affair began, and soon welcomed their son, David James and, four years later, daughter Julie Marie. In total, Karen and Dave were together for 61 years! Karen enjoyed being a wife and mother, and had a long and rewarding career working for numerous banking institutions in various positions until her retirement. In retirement, Karen and Dave built a home and relocated to Aguila, AZ. Winters were spent enjoying the warm temperatures of Arizona, and Summers were spent with their dogs "Toga", "Carmen" and "Woody" dividing their time between Renton, Yakima and Ephrata, WA. She enjoyed reading, gardening, bowling, movies, and spending time with her beloved Husband, adult children, extended family and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her Mother, Eva, and her Father, James. She is survived by her beloved Husband, Dave (Toga, Carmen and Woody), Son, David (Ken, Rainier and Cheyenne), Daughter, Julie (Jeb, Bailey and Tucker), Twin Sister, Kathie (Jennifer and Jamie), and her Sister-in-Law Pam (Cori, Micah and Eric). Karen touched many lives and will be missed deeply and remembered always. A Celebration of Karen's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Wickenburg Humane Society in Karen's name. http://wickenburghumane.com..or a charity of choice.
