Katie (83 years) was born in Pennsylvania. She came to Arizona in 1974, where she resided in both Wickenburg and Congress.
Katie owned and operated the 71 Cafe in Congress from 1978 to 1982. Sunday "special" was every ones favorite day at the cafe because she made the best fried chicken and homemade pies.
Katie worked at Wickenburg Hospital in numerous positions, The Meadows, and Community Bank in Wickenburg.
Katie loved knitting, crocheting and sewing clothes for her family and friends.
She married Robert L. Richter with whom she had 4 sons: Mike, Ed, Harry and Jeffrey. She was also married to Tom Pearson.
She is survived by sons Mike, Ed, Harry and wife Laura. Jeffrey, her youngest son passed away in 1982. 5 grandchildren: RJ Richter, Chandra Bautista, Tristen, Aubrey, and Ian. Great grandson Donovan.
The family wishes to have a private service at a later time.
