Katie Gore of Wickenburg AZ, passed away on March 26, 2022. Katie was born in El Paso Texas on July 17, 1937. She was raised and graduated from high school in Carrizozo N. M. Her family moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1954. Katie started working at White Sands Missile Range as a secretary soon thereafte, she met and married Jerry Gore in November 1959 and they remained together until his passing in 2017. They moved to Anaheim Ca in 1973. Katie went to work at Reese Games as a purchasing agent and worked there for several years before moving to Glass Container Corporation where she became the corporate buyer. Katie and Jerry retired in 2004 and moved to Wickenburg, AZ where they made many new friends. They played golf and traveled in their motorhome all over the country. They bought a cabin in Lakeside, AZ in 2013 and spent the summers there in the mountains.
Katie is survived by her 4 sons, Lance (Cindy), Bob (Janie), Sam (Sharon), Jack (Stacey), 8 grandchildren Alyssa, Katie, Delaney, Jake, Emma, Jessica, Kyle, Tanner and 4 great grandchildren, Addison, Olivia, Darren, Aiden, and a brother Mel (Lori).
Katie was interred at the Wickenburg cemetery next to her love Jerry. At her request there will be no service.
