Kenneth Baker

September 17, 1934 — April 1, 2020

Kenny Baker went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 1, 2020. He was born on his Uncle Homer's farm in Granger, Ohio on September 17, 1934. The Family moved to Wise, VA where he spent his childhood. Ken moved to Akron, Ohio in 1950 where he met and married Helen Phillips. They were blessed with four children: Debbie, Linda, Kenny Jr. and Jeannie. In 1956 they moved to Phoenix. Kenny was a Teamster and drove over the road for many years. After marrying Marie in 1988, he moved to Wickenburg and worked for Wickenburg Concrete until he retired. He enjoyed volunteering at the Chamber during special events. He was a kind and gentle man who cared for and loved his family. Kenny had a great sense of humor and loved to tease his kids and grandkids. He loved fishing, camping and being with his Marie. They would take trips to camp and fish at Roosevelt Lake and Alamo. They also took a yearly trek to Willcox to pick apples.



He was preceded in death by his four children, his wife Helen, parents Lytton and Oska Baker, sister Mary Belle McPherson and brother David Baker. His is survived by his wife Marie sister Betty Miller, daughter-in-law Bonnie Baker, step children Barney Hayes and Kelly Peterson, also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
