Kenneth McCulloch passed away on September 23, 2023. He was born in High River, Alberta, Canada on August 20, 1934 to Louis and Violet McCulloch. As a young man, he worked on the oil rigs in Alberta as a roughneck. He attended Oklahoma University and earned degrees in Geology and Business. He married Roberta Elliott on August 18, 1957. After college he and Roberta moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where they started their family. He and his father ran Polychemical Industries and he eventually became the President. Weekends during the summer, you could find him at the lake cabin on Pigeon Lake in Alberta, sailing, water skiing or just relaxing at the water’s edge. In 1972, he and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he was a business owner for many years. He enjoyed vacations to Hawaii, Mexico and California, along with downhill skiing trips with the family. He and Roberta moved to Wickenburg, Arizona in 1992. There, he worked for the Meadows and the Desert Caballeros Western Museum before retiring. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity for many years, eventually serving as President. He found satisfaction in being of service to others. He was a dog lover and was especially fond
of his Miniature Schnauzers, Tishka and Lexi. He spent his retirement years working in the yard, reading business magazines, the paper and biographical books as well as spending time with family and friends. His meticulous nature showed in everything he did. He was preceded in death by Roberta McCulloch, his wife of 64 years. He is survived by his loving children Valerie McCulloch of Phoenix, Sharon (Todd) Peterson of Chippewa Falls, WI, Greig (Marti) McCulloch of Houston, TX and Ken’s two grandsons, Tyler Peterson of Chicago, IL and Kadin Peterson of Apple Valley, MN.
