Born in Venice, California, educated at Calif. State Polytechnic University with a BS degree in Animal Husbandry and Teacher Certificate for Vocational Agriculture from Oregon State University.
Taught Clatsop Community College, Redmond High School and Lincoln County and also owned and ran the 96 Ranch, ran a carpet business, and was successful Real Estate entrepreneur.
Served 5 years in the United States Air Force
Ken is survived by 4 children: Dan Zerbe of Redmond, OR., David Zerbe of Keizer, OR., Laurie Jensen of Philomath, OR., Alex Wyatt of Keizer, OR., and his wife Jeanne Zerbe.
