Lee W Miles, age 84, passed away January 22, 2015 at his home in Glendale, Az. Lee was born December 27, 1930 in Afton, Wyoming to LeRoy A. Miles and Estella Ruth Miles. He was raised in Afton and attended schools there. He later went on to attend Brigham Young University where he also played basketball. He served in the U.S. Army and following his military service he attended the University of Utah where he majored in Civil Enginering. Lee began working in construction for Morrison-Knudsen, Inc. and during his life he had worked for various companies and many locations throughout the world. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served in various capacities during his life. Lee was an avid golfer and enjoyed most all sports. He is survived by his wife Cathy of Glendale, daughters Diane Taylor of Glendale and Nan Jacobsen(Mark) of Meridian, Idaho, sons Vern Miles of Casper, Wy., and Hal Miles of Glendale, brother Ray (Beverly) Miles of Casper, Wy., sister Cherie (Lloyd) Nield of Idaho Falls, ID., and grandchildren: Jason Miles HEath Brown, Cody Brown, Oaklee Brown, Paden Jacobsen, Cash Jacobsen, Jessica Lauren Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Ciara Taylor and Savanna Taylor and great-grandchildren: Truly & Lincoln Oliver. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Glendale North Stake Center at 4901 W. Union Hills Dr. in Glendale, AZ with visitation prior to services from 10:00 until service time.
