Linda Lomax

February 18, 1951 — October 6, 2015

God saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be. He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered "Come with Me". She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend. She faced her pain with courage, until the very end. She tried so hard to stay with us, but her fight was not in vain. God took her to his loving home, and freed her from her pain. It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Christine Lomax (Marshall), 64 years of age, announces her passing in Prescott, AZ. Linda went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Family and friends are thankful that the cancer caused her very little physical pain. Linda was born to Duane Alden Marshall and Bernice Aldea (Lord) Marshall, on February 18, 1951. Both parents preceded her in death. Linda attended South High School in Torrance, CA and graduated in 1969. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 25 years Michael Lomax. She is also survived by her six children; Janee, Michael, Jonathan, Shawnah, Stephen and Scott and ten grandchildren including Ashley, Amber, Nathan, Brian, Jacob, Cheyenne, Izaak, Devan, Hailey and Noah. Linda will also be greatly missed by her sister Diane Best and brother Gary Marshall. They will forever cherish memories of their childhood. Linda was big of heart and walked through this life with a kind and gentle Spirit. Linda especially loved family, friends, and celebrating the Holidays with them. She also took great joy in her dogs, some of whom preceded her in death, but they will greet her in Heaven. A celebration of life will be held at The Club at Prescott Lakes Clubhouse located at 311 E. Smoketree Lane in Prescott, Arizona on October 26th between noon and 3PM. Dress Code is business casual. No jeans, cargo pants, t-shirts, etc. Please RSVP with guest count to Mike Lomax at 951.206.5852 or [email protected]
