Lucile Blaisdell

Lucile Henrietta Blaisdell, age 93, passed away August 25, 2013 in Sun City West, Arizona. Lucile was born April 25, 1920 in Linn Grove, Iowa to George C. Terpening and Anna Frieda Magdeline (Janssen) Terpening. She married Albert Blaisdell November 10, 1946 in San Francisco, California. They made their home in San Francisco briefly and later moved to Palo Alto and Sonora, California. Lucile had worked for United Airlines before she and husband Albert retired in the 1990's. They purchased a Motorhome and traveled the United States and Canada for some 10 years before settling in Congress, Arizona. They moved into My Father's Retirement Ranch in 2008. Lucile was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 2010 and sisters: Mildred Sutton, and Iola Kramer and brother Clair Terpening. She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Oelschlager of Yerington, Nevada and Betty Slocum of Jacksonville, Florida. Lucile was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting. She and Albert were avid motorcyclists and rode often as they traveled. She will be interred with her husband Albert in Prescott National Cemetery.
