Margaret Landoll

Margaret "Peg" Stebbins Morgan Landoll, passed away October 8, 2015 at Banner Hospice with family members by her side. Margaret was born January 30, 1923 in Canton, Ohio to Rev. W.T. Stebbins and Ethel M. Brown Stebbins. She graduated from Lehman High School in Canton and attended Kent State University and several aquatic schools for additional training. She also was a Licensed Practical Nurse during the early years. She worked at the Y.W.C.A in Canton in the Physical Education & Recreation Dept. for 19 years. She also taught classes for handicapped adults and children at the Knights of Columbus Pool in Canton. She was an active swimming instructor at the Canton City Pools for many years and gave of her time to several Church camps on Lake Erie during the summers. She was active with the Red Cross and received her 50 year pin for volunteer service. After moving to Wickenburg she volunteered for the Del Webb Center for the Performing Arts, Chamber of Commerce Miss Gold Nugget, Desert Caballeros Museum, and the Soroptimist Thrift Shop. Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband of 46 years, John G. Morgan in May of 1988 and her second husband Robert Landoll in June 2010. Margaret is survived by 2 daughters Peggy Craig and husband Terry of Wickenburg, Dori Hyatt and husband Freddie of Morristown, Florida, and one son John Morgan, II and wife Susan of Brandon, Mississippi, and 4 grandchildren: Mark Craig of Peoria, AZ, Lori Jones and husband Ernie of Wickenburg, John Morgan, III and wife Amy of Madison, Mississippi and Scott Morgan and wife Corey of Cordova, Tennessee. Her 9 great-grandchildren: Chad Craig, Britini Jones Swazyee, Dakota Jones, Christine Jones, Ellis & Reid Morgan and Marian, William & Thomas Morgan. She has one great-great-grandchild Easton Swayzee and was preceded in death by great-great grandson, Trenton Swayzee and sister Mildred Arnold Sanford. Also survived by a sister Dorothy Mackey of Columbus, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Margaret's memory be made the Wickenburg Humane Society.
