Maria Martinez

Maria Martinez, age 74, passed away May 27, 2015 in Peoria, Arizona. Maria was born January 21, 1941 in Buena Vista, Jalisco, Mexico to Santos & Elena Sanchez. She was raised there on the family ranch and later married Vicente Martinez. They lived in Mexico until 1971 when they came to Arizona settling in the Congress area. She was a good homemaker and enjoyed cooking and dancing and Mariachi music. Maria was preceded in death by a brother Ramon Sanchez and a sister Delfina Sanchez. She is survived by her husband Vicente and Children: Martha Sepulveda, Raquel Martinez,Demecio Martinez, Teresa Rodriguez, Beatriz Cardiel, Lupita Perez, Esperanza Lopez, Vicente Martinez, Jr., Dora Zamora, Arturo Martinez, Brothers & Sisters: Roberto Sanchez, Vicente Sanchez, Maria Sanchez, Juana Sanchez, Elena Sanchez, and 25 Granchildren and 18 Great-granchildren. There will be a Rosary said on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM with a Funeral Mass to be said on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with interment to follow in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
