Marjorie E. Johnson, age 88, passed away November 9, 2014 in Sun City West, Arizona. Marjorie was born November 1, 1926 in Fisher, Illinois. She was raised there and attended school there and graduated from high school in Findlay, Illinois. She married Harold Donnell in 1946 and they made their home in Shelbyville, Illinois. She was a mother and a homemaker and also worked as a secretary with Sta-rite Bobby Pin Company. In 1959 she moved to Arizona settling in west Phoenix. She began working with the Del E. Webb Corporation in 1961. She later married Jesse Allen Klinefelter in 1970 and after taking a leave of absence from the Del Webb Corp. they relocated back to the Klinefelter family farm in Nokomis, Illinois for a short time before returning to Arizona resuming her employment with Del E. Webb Corp. where she continued to work as a executive assistant until her retirement in 1985. She moved to Wickenburg and purchased the local Hallmark store which she operated as TK Hallmark until closing the store in 1991. Marjorie had served on the board of the Del E. Webb Foundation until 2007. She also served as a lifetime member of the board of the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts. After the death of her husband Jesse Klinefelter in 1999 she married R.H. Johnson in 2002. Marjorie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and sang in the Choir as well as served as the church treasurer. She volunteered often at the Wickenburg Community Hospital as well as Habitat for Humanity. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Donnell, Jesse Klinefelter, and R.H. Johnson as well as brothers, Lowell, Wayne & Harlan Erwin and a sister Nadine Richardson. She is survived by her son Stephen (Nancy) Donnell of Mayer, AZ, stepchildren: Danny (Vicki) Klinefelter of College Station,TX, Lynn Klinefelter of Dallas, TX, and Skip (Barbara) Klinefelter of Nokomis, IL, grandchildren: Shad (Christianna) Donnell of Park City, UT, Nathan (Carmen) Donnell of Phoenix, great-grandchildren: Tyler, Makaila & Sedona Donnell, and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. The family suggests any memorial contributions in Marjorie's memory be made to the Banner Hospice at Grandview Terrace at 14505 W. Granite Valley Dr. building"A" Sun City West, AZ 85375. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
