Marjorie Pearl Lower-Todaro, age 89, passed at home in Wickenburg, Arizona on August 7, 2014 with the trumpets announcing her arrival into the Kingdom of God. Marge was born December 30, 1924 in Auburn, Nebraska to William and Lily Pearl Hutton. She was raised in San Diego, Ca. where she graduated from San Diego High School. She began working in the banking industry after graduation when she met Bruce Lower with them were marrying shortly thereafter. She saw Washington, D.C. and North Carolina as a military wife but the USMC settled them back in San Diego County with them making their home in the Oceanside/Vista area raising their three children. She was a wife and mother but she loved her work as a veterinary assistant for 35 years. She was also involved in real estate in her later life. In 1987 her beloved husband of 42 years, Bruce Lower passed away. She met Tom Todaro in 1991 and they moved to Wickenburg, Az. Marge was active in the community of Wickenburg and was instrumental in securing the local dialysis clinic. She and Tom were recognized with a Humanitarian Award in 2005 for their assistance and generosity to others following the flood on the Hassayampa by the Elks Lodge. Family was everything to Marge, she was a loving, cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Tom Todaro in 2011 and sons Bruce Lower in 2007 and Bill Lower in 2009 as well as brothers Guy and Bill Hutton and sister Betty Shepherd. Marge is survived by daughter Linda (Lee) Peraldo of Wickenburg, Stepson Joe Todaro of Wickenburg; grandchildren: Kimberly (Howard) Peraldo-Ream of Las Vegas, NV., Shawna Lower of Boston, MA, William Lower of Alaska, Pearl Lower of Escondido, Ca. and great-grandchildren: Alissa, Paige, Alexis, Noah and Caelen. Private family services will be held on held in San Diego at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday, August 14, 2014.
