Martin Krechel

Martin Luther Krechel, 92, of Wickenburg, AZ,

passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Born on May 23, 1933, in

Kresgeville, PA, he was the son of the late David and Mary Frantz Krechel.

Marty proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Germany.

He went on to have a successful career as an electrician with Jersey Central Power and

Light until his retirement. Known for his remarkable ability to fix almost anything, Marty

was a dependable and generous soul, always ready to lend a helping hand. He was an

exceptional husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, friend, and

neighbor-leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Beverly; his sons, Brad Krechel (Sarah)

of Wickenburg, AZ, and Martin Krechel (Janine) of Pawleys Island, SC; his

grandchildren, Samantha Boyd (Dwight), Alexandra Salomons (Louis), Timothy Krechel,

Sierra Krechel, and Willow Krechel; and his great-grandchildren, Layla, Kennedy, Asher,

and Emma. Marty also leaves behind his brother, Henry Krechel (Doris), and sister,

Estelle Altemose, both of Pennsylvania, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Joshua, David, and Forrest Krechel; his sisters, Louise Mason and Mary Young; and his grandson, Maxwell.

In retirement, Marty and Bev cherished their adventures together, traveling to places he

had served during his Army days, RVing along the Oregon coast, and visiting family and

friends in Pennsylvania. His warm presence and unwavering kindness will be deeply

missed by all.

Marty was a great man whose memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who

loved him.
