Marvin Bofenkamp

Marvin John Bofenkamp passed away peacefully on March 5, 2017. He was 88 years old. Marvin was born July 31, 1928 in Sykeston, North Dakota. He settled in Saint Paul, Minnesota where he married Marian Schumacher, his wife of 58 years, in 1951 while serving in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. After raising three children, Marvin and Marian relocated to Canyon Country, California and eventually to Wickenburg, Arizona. Marvin will be remembered as a master carpenter and cabinetmaker retiring in 1990. He served as Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Marvin is preceded in death by his wife Marian and his son Michael Bofenkamp. He is survived by his son Alan (Susan) Bofenkamp of Anacortes, Washington and his daughter Jean (Scott) Mains and two granddaughters Jenny and Julie of Roseville, California.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with interment to follow at Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
