Melissa Briet

Melissa Yvonne Glass-Briet passed away at 49 January, 17th 2022 due to complications from covid. - was born to James Walter Glass and Sylvia Louise Grimes in Aberdeen, Washington. She is preceded by her step son Aaron Alan Briet. Survived by her father James Glass and her Mother Sylvia Grimes-Glass and her Husband Harold (John) Lee Briet. She is also Survived by her daughters Kayla Glass and Elizabeth Briet. Her sisters Cheree Sylvester, Sonya Marcou, and Stephanie Marsh. Her step Sons Harold Briet, Russel Briet, Jesse Briet, and Chance Briet. As well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.



She lived in the Pacific North West For most of her life. She studied criminology and received her AA at Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, WA. She Moved to Wickenburg, AZ November 11th, 2011 with her husband Harold (John) and youngest daughter Elizabeth. She enjoyed hiking to see sunsets, creek fishing in Montana, camping, rock hounding, gold panning and jokingly picking on her siblings and daughters. She enjoyed hours on end antiquing and shopping. She loved life and had such an incredibly infectious personality. Her presence would light up a room. Melissa's laugh was unique, causing smiles to bloom from all who heard. Melissa made friends everywhere she went and those who had the honor of knowing her, knew how huge of a heart she had. She always said that her favorite job was being a mom and she was an incredible mother to all her children. Always there with advice and guidance or a quick laugh.



She absolutely loved and adored her husband, who was her best friend and the love of her life. They were married for 19 years. 19 years of pranks, laughs, jokes and blissful memories. 19 years of a love that will never fade.



She adored her family and was always there in a heartbeat for support or just a shoulder. An ear to listen or just someone to call just because.



She was a bright star in all our lives with her jokes and smiles. She will be greatly missed by all.
