Michael Mayerhofer

The family of Michael "Mick or Mike" David Mayerhofer sadly announces his passing on Friday March 13th, 2015. Mike was born on April 6th, 1958 in Chicago, Il. Mike is a 37 year resident of Arizona, residing 20 of those years in Wickenburg, Az. Mike leaves behind five children; Joseph (Crystal) Mayerhofer, Tarah Mayerhofer (Josh Thompson), Dominic Formica, Mikayla Mayerhofer and Erik Mayerhofer and four grandchildren; Koen Thompson, Cason Thompson, Benjamin Mayerhofer and another baby Mayerhofer who is on the way. Mike was born into a family of five children: Larry, Bob, Don, Janis Mayerhofer. Mike is remembered for his humor, loving heart, raspy voice, goofiness and inspiration to many. Mike will be remembered by many within the 12 step program for his dedication and his leadership. Mike joined the Carpenters Union in 1978 passing on his many skills to his loved ones. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Tarah Mayerhofer at 224 Genung Ave, Wickenburg, Az 85390. These generous contributions will be given on behalf of Mike to the Program that meant the most to him. A viewing for the public will be held at Wickenburg Funeral Home on Thursday March 19th, 2015 from 7:00-9:00pm. The Celebration of Life will be held at Coffinger Park Ramada on Friday March 20th at 3:00pm. The Celebration of life will include wiffle ball, food and laughter. The family requests for you to come casually and enjoy the things that meant the most to Mike, his FAMILY and friends!
