Nancy Gibson was born on January 9, 1938 in Stratford, CT. She moved to Arizona with her family as a young girl. She was raised in Wikieup and graduated from Kingman Highschool. She married Fred Medlin and had two children. She later moved to Bagdad with her two children and worked at various establishments that supported the town for some time before becoming a teacher's aid at DC Lincoln Elementary school where she could keep a close eye on her grandchildren and ultimately retired from. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Barney Gibson, a son Barney B. Gibson, and two of her sisters Elsie Roepke and Marie Baker. She is survived by her daughter Johanna (husband Chris, also deceased) and son Fred (wife Shelia), 7 grandchildren, 7 (one on the way) great-grandchildren, and sister Fredericka Moseley. She lived a vivacious life and dressed like it too with her bedazzled sweaters and dangly earrings that matched every holiday. If she wasn't persuading someone to take her on a cruise around town or filling up candy sacks for all the trick-or-treaters at Halloween, she was preparing for a big Thanksgiving meal, or shopping all the stores on Black Friday to find the right Christmas presents for everyone in her life. She loved big and will be missed big.
