Nancy Steck

Nancy J. Steck was born June 3, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Vernon V. Osterhoudt and Irene Goff Osterhoudt. She was raised there and attended schools there graduating from Thomas A. De Vilbiss High School June 8, 1956. She later married Daniel J. Steck February 8, 1958 at the Central Presbyterian Church in Joliet, Illinois. Nancy worked as an accountant most of her life retiring in 1998. She and Dan traveled extensively for 8 years touring most of the country. They came to Wickenburg in 2008. She enjoyed crocheting and worked tirelessly crocheting lap robs for the Veteran's Hospital in Prescott as well as Helment liners for the troops in Iraq and Afganistan. She is survived by her husband Dan of Wickenburg and uncle & aunt Bob & Frannie Osterhoudt of Florida, 1 brother and 4 sisters, and many friends and neighbors. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15th at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Family suggests memorial contributions in Nancy's memory be made to Hospice of the Valley. 17225 N.
