Pamela McPherson

April 12, 1953 — February 3, 2024

Pamela Dee (Griggs) McPherson passed away on February 3, 2024. Pam was born on April 12, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her family moved to Casper, Wyoming when she was in 6th grade and she graduated from Natrona County High School in 1971. Pam married the love of her life, Robert (Mac) McPherson, on July 23, 1971 and together they traveled where the Navy took them, Mississippi, Washington and California. They welcomed 3 daughters during their travels in the Navy, Paula, Penni and Jamie and their family was complete.

Pam stayed home to raise their girls in the early years, while Mac deployed with Navy numerous times. She was a devoted wife for 52 years and devoted mother, her girls meant the world to her.

They made their home in Utah in 1984 after Mac was medically discharged from the Navy, where they lived in Salt Lake and then Dugway Proving Grounds. In 1995 they moved back to Wyoming, where they called Mills home until 2013 when they headed south to settle in Arizona. Pam easily made every stopping point along their journey, a home.

She was stubborn as a mule and the more someone told her to do something, the more she was against it. It was all part of her charm. She had a beautiful smile and amazing clear blue eyes, she was small in stature but Lord she was mighty. She never met a stranger and her home was always open to friends and family.

Pam is survived by her husband Mac, daughters Penni Bertagnolli and Jamie (Eddie) Bowden and son-in-law Gary Putnam, sisters Susan (Rick) Affleck and Peggy (Gary) Porter. Brothers-in-law Bill, John (Laurie) Hawkins and Paul Hunter and sister-in-law Joyce McPherson, as well as 8 grandchildren, Wade, Harley, Kyle, Miranda, Aurora, Trey, Austin and Lexi and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Kent, and beloved daughter Paula.
