Peggy Peterson, 75, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 15, 2022. Peggy was born in New Jersey in October 1946 one of two children of William and Ruth Tuers.

After graduating high school, she earned an associate's degree and went on to become a dental hygienist/orthodontist assistant. She married and had two children while living in upstate New York.

After relocating to Mesa, Arizona, in the early 1980s her world changed dramatically. She learned to fly, and she and her husband went to many airshows in their antique planes which they built and refurbished. They were avid motorcyclists and enjoyed many outings with friends and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. Peggy was the ultimate hostess. Everyone loved being invited to her get-togethers. After moving to the Wickenburg area, she got involved in the Aguila grade school where she showed her love for the kids in her care. When she retired, she took up her passion for handmade pieces that she knitted, sewed and crocheted. She took elaborate care to make pieces that people were proud to have.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Bruce) Meier and son Jeff (Jenny) Stone; granddaughters Amanda O'Brien and Emma Duncan; sister Nancy McCauley (Dick Beattie). The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice in Phoenix for taking wonderful care of Peggy during her journey home. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Suncrest Hospice, 4650 E. Cotton Center Blvd, Unit 250, Phoenix, AZ 85040. At Peggy's request a private, family ceremony will be held at a later date.
