Rita Haidacher

Rita Coletta Haidacher, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2015 in Surprise, Arizona. Rita was born January 30, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to John & Mary Murphy. She married William Haidacher in 1942 and was a housewife and stay at home mother until widowed in 1966 and she then began working in Chicago hospitals until retiring in 1982. At that time she moved to the Wittmann area, after several years of retirement she began working part-time for the City of Surprise scheduling transportation for the elderly. Rita was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Murphy of County Mayo, Ireland and three siblings, Mary, James and John as well as her husband William in 1966. She is survived by her childen: William Haidacher of Des Plaines, Christine Florendo of Wittmann, Theresa Burns of Corona, CA and Martin Haidacher of Tinley Park, IL, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31st at 10:00 AM at the Wickenburg Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all who were so kind to her at Chaparral Winds and her friends who visited.
