Rita Jorgenson

Rita Eileen Jorgenson passed away on September 2nd, 2019 in Surprise, AZ. Born on October 18th, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska to Clem and Agnes Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents Clem and Agnes Johnson, brothers Clem Junior, Robert, Phillip and Sister Barbara Menshek. She is survived by her Children Daniel McClurg, Kathy Jambor (Mike) and Joe Friell (Jennifer) along with her grandchildren Samantha (Dave), Ryan, Sara, Alex and Madison along with her great grandchildren Lucy, Caleb and Brea. Rita is also survived by her sisters Jean Allard, Marilyn Lantz (Ron) and brother Ray Johnson along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.



Rita spent most of her life in Minnesota but the last 10 years Wickenburg, AZ was her home and truly loved living there. She had a love for music, dancing and gardening along with an understated sense of humor that not all understood but buoyed her up through life's ups and downs. Rita was a strong women who did not turn away from adversity but continued to move forward and enjoy life.



Rita will be sorely missed by all and a void has been left that will be difficult to replace. Her quirky, irreverent, strong and spunky attitude endeared her to her family and friends. Those that came in contact with Rita moved forward with a changed outlook on life.



There will be a memorial service for Rita on October 4th at the family residence. Family and friends are welcome to join us in celebration.
