Robert Bartholomew

Robert James Bartholomew passed away at his home in Wickenburg, AZ on December 10, 2015 after a year long battle with brain cancer. He was born July 3, 1941 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Nazareth High School in 1959 and later Penn State University in 1963 with a B.S. in Forestry. Robert married Patricia Claire Albert on March 19, 1962. Robert had worked with the U.S. Forest Services 30 years in Umpqua National Forest, Roseburg, OR., Winema National Forest in Klamath Falls, OR., Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Stevenson, WA., and Siuslaw National Forest in Waldport & Corvallis, OR. retiring in 1993. He & Patricia moved to Albany, OR. where they farmed raising cattle, sheep and hay and he worked in Real Estate and served as a Brand Inspector for the State of Oregon. They later moved to Ontario, OR and also Ellensburg,WA. where they also farmed and ranched. In 2014 they moved to Wickenburg, Arizona. Robert is survived by his wife Patricia Claire Albert Bartholomew of Wickenburg, daughters Susan (Jack) Nunnellee of Tonopah, AZ, Jean Ann (Tom) King of Edgewood, WA ., 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Robert Bartholomew. An Open House Reception will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00PM at the Lighthouse Room at the Central Coast Ranger District Siuslaw National Forest Hwy 101-Waldport, Oregon.

Suggested dress - Casual attire appropriate for the coast.

The family suggests memorials in Robert's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
