Ronald Griffith

June 20, 1966 — December 15, 2017

Ronald Jeffrey Griffith, 51, passed away on December 15, 2017 in Wickenburg, Arizona. He was born in La Puente, California on June 20, 1966, he was the son of Joyce (Bacon) and Doyle Griffith.

He attended San Luis Obispo High School in California, where he played basketball for many years. Following high school he served a two year mission for the LDS church in San Antonio, Texas. Following his mission he married his long time sweetheart Suzanne Latimer. Together they raised five amazing children. Ron worked for several years as a correctional officer for the State of California. Following a family move to Sandy, Utah he changed careers and began working as a service adviser at a local car dealership. He later went on to work as a Service Manager, and a store General Manager. In 2009 Ron and Suzanne divorced. Between 2009 and 2017 he welcomed 9 grandchildren into the world.

At the end of 2016 he moved to Wickenburg, Arizona. In the Spring of 2017, Ron met the love of his life Erica Slone of Wickenburg, Arizona. Ron and Erica spent several wonderful happy months together, and were married on November 19th, 2017. Their time together was brief, but it was the happiest period of his life.

He was never too busy to sit down with his daughters and watch the latest romantic comedy, or spend a Saturday night on the slopes boarding with his sons. He was always willing to help those around him from clearing snow off of our neighbors driveways to changing the brakes on someone's car.

He is survived by his wife Erica; his children Jessica Stoutner (Soren), Jeffrey Griffith (Samantha), Brandi, Alexandra, and Matthew: his step-son David Bishop; nine beautiful grandchildren; his parents Joyce (Bacon) and Doyle Griffith; seven brothers and sisters; and dozens of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his big brother Doyle Griffith.
